So far he has thrown 10 2/3 Innings allowing 20 hits 16 runs, 14 ER, and 3 Bombs... wow
6 K's in 10 innings, though.  the season is very early.

Coach Gum will have him ready by conference. Count on it.

James Schroeder, on the other hand, has done very well. 13 innings pitched, 8 hits, 5 runs (4 earned, 2 homeruns), and 8 k's. Not bad, for a third baseman.

From what I understand, he was hurt a bit at the beginning of the year, and that may have figured in to his poor start. However, he really has improved as the season has gone on.

Nice to see SAU represent, even though this is only the West. Pitching and long-ball capabilities were the two things that worried me going into this year. The pitching has done a lot better than I expected, and I hope it holds up. As for as home runs, Sunday we tied our single-season record. So it looks like I worried for nothing!
