Help for a new coach!
« on: January 18, 2006, 11:47:00 am »
I need some help from so of you experienced coaches out there to know what your pre-season practices are like, what drills you have, and any other useful information that you would like to throw in for a new coach. I don't need anything from anyone that IS NOT a coach. For those of you who will submit your help I say thank you in advance.

Have you ever played baseball, what do you mean drills, you should know what drills to run and how to develop a schedule for practice being a new coach or old coach.

Since you know where the bookstore is you can stop by and pick up "Spelling and Using Proper Grammar For Dummies".
Bye - Shortened form of goodbye, as in "see you later".
Buy - Word meaning to purchase, as in "Buy a dictionary, dude!".

There are some pretty good tips and suggestions at www.eteamz.com.  You may also search for Baseball Drills on your search engine.  Lots there to choose from.  Good luck!

Are you coaching a high school team or a kids team? Makes a difference on the type of drills you try to use.

I am coaching high school boys. The only problem right now is that I only have a small number until basketball season is over.

ShakBakyBake,

Just because you might not be aware, there are more than likely softball coaches who  know more about baseball than you will ever know.
