Not to bad-mouth Pea Ridge, it is a great and growing community that has supported its sports very well, but how in tarnation are they getting all these coaches? A 7A head coach, 7A OC, and a college coach all to a school that was 4A just last year and isn't the most talented team by far in either 4A or 5A. These dudes must have talked to Lebron James or something.

But seriously... Probably the same reasons high profile guys like Odom and Briles wanted to coach at Arkansas this past season to work for Pittman. Good coaches want to work with good coaches who are also great people.

Jeff Williams needed a change...

Jeff Williams highly respected in Arkansas coaching ranks... (read Bray Cooks conversation on why he jumped at the opportunity to work with CJW)

I wouldn't use Brey Cook as a reference

If Coach Jeff Williams is filling his staff with quality upper level coaches, then this is a positive for the Pea Ridge Program.  As a huge part of a Head Coaches job is to hire Assistant Coaches (and OC/DC) that will build the program from this day forward.

So, if coach Williams can recruit these type of coaches, then also imagine the impact he will have on Students and building the program from the ground up, and the potential that Pea Ridge has.

Iím sure thereís more to it than that... but holding rivalry stuff from years ago like that against a kid long after theyíve graduated HS, played for the Hogs, cup of tea in the NFL... and came back to coach HS kids in his home state is really weak.
