Will was MVP in state championship games for Football and Basketball. He could have been chosen as MVP for baseball, as well, but the honor went to a teammate who had a comparable game. A superb all-around athlete, he was a 4-year starter in basketball for Harding University.

Austin Reaves for sure. Led Cedar Ridge to a championship and has made his mark in D-1 basketball.

Yes he sure has. Tamas Bruce started at John A Logan college he shot 61.0% his 2nd year which was the 18th best in NJCAA. Also had 43 blocks that year. Then he went ahead and finished his last two seasons at Arkansas state. He played overseas a little bit and ended up signing a G-league contract last I've heard. I donít know what heís doing now. Chew is at Williams Baptist. He made the All AMC defense team. He broke the school record for most steals(11) in the game. Heís playing pretty good at Williams Baptist

Yep Demoine Brown from RiverCrest was the first player to win MVP in a state championship game in both football and basketball and was a I/2 point shy in track of making it 3 MVP's in a row, 7 year later his lil bro Demilon Brown won MVP in the 3A state football championship same position,  qb and same uniform number #3. 8)   Francis from Harding Academy followed Demoine Brown the next season. Two outstanding young me on and off the field.

Sounds like young Mr. Brown certainly deserves inclusion on this list.

Didn't include Allie Freeman because I always thought he was overrated as a basketball player, and I saw plenty of ECS games while he was there. He's a legit star on the gridiron, but he always had better players on the basketball team like Martin and Robinson.

Let's give the girls some credit. Here are some of the best I saw this past decade (minimum 2 years in 3A):

Kellie Lampo, Jessieville
Peyton Herrell, Jessieville
Riley Rose, Harding Academy
Olivia McWilliams, eStem
Gia Hayes, eStem
Hattie Newhart, Charleston
Madison Riley, Riverview
Erykah Johns, Riverview
Payton Tennison, Valley Springs
Sydney Gillham, Hoxie
Kaley Shipman, Mountain View
Carissa Caples, Rose Bud
Tori Lasker, Mayflower
Tristen Lasker, Mayflower
Dominique Brown, Rivercrest
Krystan Vornes, Rivercrest and Osceola (only saw her at Osceola)
Jordan Elder, Rivercrest (only saw her at Nettleton)
EDIT: Shakyla Begnaud, McGehee (almost forgot how good this girl was)

One-and-done shoutouts
Deidra McCoy, Fountain Lake (could only play her senior season due to transfer rules)
Mallory Hartley, Trumann (played her senior season for the Lady Wildcats because Bay didn't have a team last year)

Riley Rose was indeed an exceptional athlete. Too bad health issues kept her from a 4-year college basketball career.

Lakyn Sanders at Lamar has to be on the all decade team for girls. All State in 9th, 10th and 11th grade and all that with 3 torn ACLís and I will be totally surprised if she is not All State this her Sr year, Lamar would be hard pressed to be in the same situation without her.

I know it would be hard to do because all the names mentioned are guards mainly but I was curious from someone who follows this better than I do.

I would add
Tennison-Valley
Perry-Mayflower
Fenner-Charleston
Wilkes-BHG

I saw Perry play a ton during his career (I focused on the 3A-5 from 2010-16), and he never really impressed me that much. Never saw the male Tennison at Valley Springs. Fenner and Wilkes are simply omissions. I've seen so much 3A hoops over the past decade that I forget about a few. Fenner had seemingly unlimited range and was possibly the best 3A shooter of the 2010s until Payton Brown came along. I saw Wilkes record a triple-double once, so I definitely should've remembered him.

4. Ward
5. Robinson

Not sure officially but was told on January 31st he had 2572. He had 46 against Lincoln, 30 against Charleston, 36 against Elkins, 20 against Greenland, and 29 against Greenland.  By my math that would put him at 2733

Early 2010s several seem to be getting forgotten... Kam Ashabranner at Manila, Arielle Saunders, Keeton Tennison, and Nick Wayman at Valley, Jared Johnson from West Fork, Destiny Prochaska at Bergman, a couple of the Mountain View girls were really really good in 2011 and 2012 one being Flannery, some players that carried their teams that were 3A then like Dillon Hargrove. Those are just the first to come to mind from 2010-2013.

With the one-and-done mentions, I think you have to mention Kaiden Hunter from Ashdown. He averaged 20 PPG during their championship run last year and was arguably and considered Ashdown's best player last year.
