BK has a very nice facility. Easy access from the freeway (US 67). If it's there, they serve great chicken strips.

And BK is a lot easier to get to than some of the places it's been held in recent years and with plenty of hotel space available only a few miles away in Searcy.

I think the North Ark bid by Valley Springs is the favorite because I don't think NAC has ever opened its doors to a state tournament. I think it'll be between that one and Charleston for most consideration. Don't think Bald Knob has much of a chance because it last hosted in 2017.

NAC has hosted 1a a couple times.

NAC has hosted 1a a couple times.

It would be a first for 3A, though, and it would be the best option for seating. I know no one likes driving to Harrison, but I think NAC would be the most ideal. It would be like Harding Academy hosting at Rhodes Fieldhouse like it did in 2011

Charleston has a very nice, large gym with plenty of parking outside. Don't know if parking is taken into consideration but there is definitely plenty. The bid will most likely be between these two gyms.

Charleston is also located 20 minutes from Fort Smith which has plenty of hotel space for travelling teams.

Region 3-HA

But it certainly won't be in Harding Academy's small gym. It will be at Harding University's Rhodes Fieldhouse, which last hosted a high school postseason event with the 2011 3A state tournament.

Yep I remember that tournament Demoine Brown and RiverCrest won it all.
