Carlisle by 1 point... They will convert a late TD to tie the game and go for 2 for the W.

We will lose this game if we keep getting unsportsmanlike penalties when they have 3rd and long.

look they line up tight and run the football .. that is not conducive to winning football games in foreman Arkansas ... they gave up a but ton of points to England last week .. il stand by my prediction

Didn't throw a pass all night so lining up tight and running the ball actually does win football games in Foreman, Arkansas.

Congratulations to Carlisle. Yaílls style of play played to your advantage tonight. Foreman was plagued with bad snaps, and costly mistakes all year and finally played a team that was good enough to make them pay for them. A lot of jawing on both sides that I do not particularly care for, but it seems as though that happens on all levels of the sport now. Iím not gonna lie I hated to see us lose, but I wasnít looking forward to that trip to Salem next week at all. Good luck the rest of the way.

Kudos to the Bisons. They brought a team into the swamp that was fully prepared to play football until the whistle blew. Multiple unsportsmanlike calls did not help the Gators either. We had the opportunity to tie the game and didnít capitalize with only a few minutes left. A first year coach took these guys on 11 straight wins and won a conference title (that hasnít been done in several years). There is no shame in that.
I wish Carlisle good luck on their journey to Salem. I believe they will do very well against them. The couple of Carlisle fans that I visited with after the game were very nice and appreciative people. Safe travels home Bisons.

Congrats to Carlisle yíall played well and won the game. The officiating in this game was absolutely horrendous and the final score is deceiving. I do wish yíall good luck and safe trip home. I just hate it when officials help to sway the outcome of a game played by kids. Iím not trying to take anything away from the bison because they brought it tonight and deserved to win but their was so many questionable calls in this game. That crew was clueless. Foreman made too many mistakes and Carlisle got it done. Congrats again.

We missed some opportunities to win too. Not saying we was cheated but anyone at this game bison or gators looking at it objectively would agree with this analysis Iím sure. I seen my first ever chop block called on a defender trying to take on a lead blocker and make a tackle. Also was a first down replayed without a penalty of any kind. What Iím saying is I would have liked to seen the game called correctly is all.

Officials of today are nothing of the same as they used to be. It seems as if theyíll let just about anyone become a referee these days regardless of their knowledge of the game. Itís getting to the point that almost every single game you attend, there are blown/busted/missed calls throughout the game. Nor do they know how to assess various penalties. Or like in the case of Gurdon/Foreman game, the ref literally didnít even know the hand signal for the penalty he had called. AAA has got to do better at providing more qualified and knowledgeable officials.

I agree the jawing in this game was coming from both sides and they penalize both teams. They seemed to come at the worst times for foreman. I do have a question though. On a dead ball unsportsmanlike penalty is it a automatic first down or just mark off the penalty and play the next down?

Iím no expert. But to my knowledge, it would be marked off and no automatic first. Guess it depends on which officiating crew you have. Lol.

Officiating in AAA isnt great, but a lot of fans dont know the rules either, they just think they do.  Or they try to relate high school rules to those of college and the pros, when many are quite different.

For example, in high school, deffensive pass enterferance isnt a spot foul, or an automatic first down. The ball returns to the previous spot and penalty yardage is assessed from there, replay of down if a first down isnt obtained by assessed penalty yardage.  I see fans go ballistic over this one every year.

I listened to the game online and to me, the key play was a mistake by Foreman.  Score was 22-14 with the ball around the Carlisle 10.  Shotgun snap was mishandled and Foreman lost about 20 yards on the play.  They had put together a good drive and were on the verge of tying the game if they made the 2 pointer.  Never recovered from that.

Agreed! On the same series with it 4th and 15 from about Carlisleís 17 yd line they threw a pass into the end zone that went through a kids hands. It wouldnít have been an easy catch but it was catchable. Had he caught it they would have had the chance to tie it up with a 2 point conversion with only about 4 or 5 minutes to play.

Foremans misfortune came when they drew a physical ground and pound team from 6, not the refs not anything else. I tried to warn yall, but all you 7 guys just wanted to talk about how physical yall were. Heck the only reason one of yall teams even is advancing is because you played another team from the 7.

Pick before you start talking about ďphysical groundĒ game why donít you at least talk to some Carlisle posters or a player before you assume that we were manhandled. The refs didnít cost us the game... we did! Yes Carlisle did what they had to do and beat us but we did a really good job of helping them by shooting ourselves in the foot time and time again! Canít tell you how many times they were tackled for a loss or no gain at all but then they would come up and get a 12-13 yd run on 3rd or 4th down. Hats off to them they did a good job. They knew we had a lot more speed than them and they kept us from getting outside of the tackles. They did a very good job of that and thatís why they won.

Name calling?  Where? Is a gator anything more than a overgrown lizard? You move along, with your conference trophy, even though you cant beat the 3 seed from the 6 at home. Oh, it looks like I was right when I said Foreman was a 1 man show with Batey. That 11-0 yall had before last night means nothing when you cannot win the games you are supposed.

As for Des Arc playing j.c. we may get beat, but it sure won't be by foreman. Good luck in basketball.

Congrats! You will last one more weekend than us. Which means that you will be watching the championship game from the same place we will be. From the couch! As for your ďone man teamĒ comment, if one man can keep an entire team from scoring on defense then your a pretty pathetic team to begin with. With all your supposed football knowledge (lol) hard to believe you donít already know that. It takes a team to stop another team defensively.

Now, as Iíve said before, with as much as you talk about DA being this great football school and you implying that Foreman as some kind of bottom feeder. How many state championships do you guys have to show for it....? Thatís right! Only one! Same amount as Foreman!! Who cares if you make it to the qtr finals or semiís? If you donít win it all itís pointless!

Now, you fly away little eagle...Youíve got bigger problems to worry about!!

Sorry, you are mistaken, i dont have any problems. but just for comparisons sake, we did mercy rule at their field the the team that knocked yall out last night. and saying making it to the quarters and semis and final and not winning it all is pointless, is what teams that do not consistently play after Thanksgiving say. foreman = one hit wonder. im sorry the truth hurts your little tender feelings this morning.

and whats up with that raggedy dirt track around the field? do yall host dirt track races there?

If I understood someone correctly, Foreman had 16 yds of offense the 2nd half but I will have to double check that.
