Rick Jones, arguably has one of the best High School teams in the country consistently.  It is time for the teams from NWA 7A West to start playing his teams regularly.

Maybe the better question is why doesn't the NWA 7A West teams want to play Greenwood?

If you look at past schedules, more years than not Greenwood has played a current 7A West NWA team.

Now the the last couple of years Greenwood as just played Northside and Southside. Both those games are huge gates for the home team, so why would Greenwood give up those games? That just leaves 1 nonconference game to schedule.

Perhaps the best question is can any of the Wal-Mart execs pull coach Jones to one of their teams. NWA is hurting without the likes of Coach Lunney and Coach Blankenship.

Why do they not want to play Greenwood.  Easy answer is there isn't any benefit for them to play Greenwood.  1.45 hour drive to play a team that can beat them.  If they win against Greenwood well its a 7A team beating a 6A team.  If they lose, which I think most of them would, then it shows just how good Greenwood is.  Either way there isn't a win scenario that would cause these games every year.
