Prayers for Southwest Oklahoma State
« on: September 11, 2018, 11:57:36 am »
Very sad news from Southwest Oklahoma State football.

A member of their team passed away on Saturday [9/8/2018], due to injuries he sustained from an automobile accident in late August.

Here is a link to the article at the SWOSU website:

SAU defeated SWOSU 36-12 tonight (9/15/2018). Rough night for Southwest Oklahoma State University, in many ways.

I wanted everyone to know that SAU did several acts to honor the young SWOSU player that passed away.

The SAU parents that attended the game made a banner that was roughly 3 ft. by 10 ft., honoring the young man.

Also, SAU players wore a small SWOSU Bulldog with the #11 jersey of the young man on the back right-hand corner of their helmets.

God be with the family of the SWOSU player that passed away.
