Back in the 40s and Early 50s:  Cabot vs Jacksonville.  The discontinued after the air base came until the late 70s.

The Battle of the Ravine used to be on Thanksgiving Day, and Homecoming for both teams.  Must've been a sight to see.

Holly Grove and Clarendon played on Thanksgiving Day for Decades till the State Playoffs restarted in the early 70's.

Walnut Ridge vs Pocahontas, the battle of the bell. It ended up in Black River a time or two, it was a great rivalry back in those days.

Wynne and Forrest City were playing on Thanksgiving as far back as the 1950's.

Yep My Parents , Grandparents and my Great Grandparents and extended family all talk about going to HG vs Clarendon or FC vs Wynne.
