Tech Women's Basketball

I was disappointed by the actions of a player in the game vs. Harding the other night.  She had fouled out and the student section was giving her the "Left, right, left... chant" as she went to the bench.  She felt it was appropriate at that point to flip off the crowd with both hands.  What was even worse was some of their fans told her good job and they were proud of her.

The sad part is a lot of the kids look up to these players as role models and this is what they see as acceptable.  Please reconsider your actions next time, you are a very good player and had shown that on the floor only to lose any respect that you earned by a gesture.

And of course the student section showed her the same amount of respect, applauding her for the minutes she had played.

Not to mention yelling at the opposing teams Coaches to "Sit Down" repeatedly, antagonizing Refs telling them they suck repeatedly, and all they say to the players....lucky they don't get removed because they are on the floor doing this the entire game.  All of this after the pre game prayer asking them to behave...

She is from Venezuela, where flipping the bird isn't as meaningful as in Arkansas.  Some of our foreign girls, first encounter of Christian Spirit, is with Harding University's Student Body.  Sorry she offended you 3A - 2 Fan, but that was just her way of saying - Yeah right, I just scored 18 points and had 12 steals, while taking your team down in your house in your face.   I think that is all she was saying 3A - 2 Fan.  ;)

I didn't realize Lake Hamilton High School was in Venezuela.

Does anyone know of any signings for the 2011 - 12 Golden Suns roster other than Westin Taylor transferring from UCA? No updates available on the website.
