Harding basketball

I noticed that Harding university played a school named Shepherd Film Academy earlier this year.  Who and where are they? Is it a college? Are they NCAA, NAIA, or what?

The girls game didn't go so well, but Harding's guys definitely played well enough to win tonight, we just couldn't pull it out in the end.  If we didn't shoot so poorly from the line then we very well could have won the game.  We bounced back and fought well after playing horribly at SAU on Thursday.

That was an exciting game, listening on the radio.  Bad shooting night for Tech as well, 70% at the line, 10-30 free throws (c'mon Marcus), & 40% from the field.  They won't stay at #1 long, if they play like that too many times.  ::)

We only shot 61% from the foul line.  If we had shot about 70% or so, we might have won the game.  You know what they say about ifs and buts, though...

I agree Harding missed an opportunity to take advantage of Tech's poor performance.  Should've heard this discussion at church - I had to keep reminding them that Tech won!  ;D

Is this a 2 year film school?

Tech brought their "A" game, last night, Jr!
Is it the top 4 or 5 (west) teams that make it to the GSC Tournament?
Big game between Harding and SAU monday!

Yeah they did and Harding definitely did not, that was embarrassing.  The top 4 from each side of the conference make it.  The west has it rough, they have 8 teams going for 4 spots while the east only has 6 teams.  2 of the teams left out of the west will probably have better records than 2 of the east teams that make it.  Yes it is a huge game on Monday night.  CBU beating Delta yesterday definitely hurt us, but Henderson helped us out by beating SAU in overtime last night.

Valleysports, what is up with the crowd at Tech?  They have 2 top 5 teams and they don't sell out their games?  They weren't even loud during the guys game, and there were hardly any students there.  If Harding had the same rankings, and I know we play in a smaller gym, they would be turning people away at halftime of the girls game.

I'm out-of-state and was not able to attend last night, so I don't know about the crowd.  We had to turn fans away at the Tech vs Delta State Game (went about 700 over capacity) and those fans were screaming mad.  But even when there are 4000 in attendance, it just doesn't seem like it to me, because of all the walk ways and Isles.  Might've been something else like the first weekend kids were able to go home with all the snow and weather.  Is this weekend a 3 day Holiday for President's Day?

So Harding is tied with SAU for 5th?  And there are 4 games left?

Update:  Attendance at Harding/Tech Game - 2,047

Well, we have 5 games left with one crossover game left because our game with SAU got postponed til Monday, but everyone else has 4 left.  Since that game with SAU got moved to Monday, that means we have 7 games in 15 days, starting with the game last night.
