Great find!  I enjoyed the article.  I wasn't aware of Black Oak Arkansas and Jim "Dandy" Mangrum and Jim Dandy To The Rescue.  That's neat.

This group leaned more toward the pop/country side of southern rock, but ever heard of this band from Springfield?

Ozark Mountain Daredevils, are one of my favorite bands....My dad met the original group back in the day....They had a cabin they'd go write songs and get away at near where he grew up.
